I’ve Walked the Path, and I Know the Way Forward

Melissa Hull is a mother, best-selling author, speaker, and coach who inspires audiences worldwide to navigate grief, healing, and personal growth.

Melissa’s journey began with an unthinkable tragedy…

Melissa Hull’s life changed forever with the accidental drowning of her young son, Drew—a loss so profound it forced her to face grief in its rawest, most intimate form. From this heartbreak, Melissa discovered that grief is not something to “get over,” but a sacred, ongoing journey that can guide us toward deeper understanding, resilience, and purpose.

Over two decades ago, Melissa made a courageous choice: to embrace grief as a teacher, not a burden. She transformed the pain of losing Drew into a guiding presence, using it to illuminate lessons of love, meaning, and emotional growth. Through this journey, she learned a powerful truth: grief doesn’t define us—the choices we make in its presence do.

Melissa is a Certified Heart-Centered Grief & Bereavement Specialist, blending professional expertise with the empathy that comes from lived experience. Her work is deeply relational, helping individuals navigate the complex landscape of grief, trauma, and healing while honoring the unique rhythm of each person’s journey.

Her approach is holistic, integrating tools like meditation, energy work, somatic practices, and spiritual reflection to create personalized paths toward emotional restoration, resilience, and renewed purpose. Melissa shows that healing is not about erasing grief but carrying it with intention, allowing love, joy, and meaning to coexist alongside loss.

Today, Melissa Hull is more than a grief survivor—she is a mentor, transformational guide, and advocate for living a life bigger than grief. She walks alongside those rebuilding their lives, helping them reclaim their power, embrace their authentic selves, and step boldly into a future shaped by presence, purpose, and possibility.

Melissa knew traditional approaches to grief weren’t enough. Her healing demanded more — more honesty, more depth, more soul.

Through her own journey, she explored alternative and energetic healing modalities, including:

  • Cellular Energy Release

  • Reiki and Energy Work

  • Meditation and Spiritual Connection

  • Dr. David R. Hawkins’s Map of Consciousness

  • Grounding Practices and Somatic Healing

These tools didn’t just help her survive — they awakened her, giving her the power to reimagine life. Now, she brings that same transformational healing to others around the world.
